Trish Buote Welcomed To The RiverQuest™ Aquatarium Team As Director Of Development


The RiverQuest Aquatarium Board of Directors and Executive Director, Bill Rogerson today announced the hiring of Trish Buote as Director of Development; a key role responsible for achieving all fundraising, marketing and communication goals for the organization.

Trish brings with her over twenty years of cross functional leadership experience with a proven track record in achieving business results in both Not-for-Profit and For Profit organizations. Trish’s most recent experience includes partnership marketing and fundraising for high profile not-for-profit organizations including SickKids Foundation and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. This included business plan development, client & operations management, above and below the line marketing, including direct mail, digital, and social media campaigns.

Trish’s past experience includes development and management of incentive programs, loyalty marketing, and employee engagement programs for Canada’s top financial institutions, automotive dealer networks, and not-for-profit organizations. As a member of the senior leadership team, Trish’s contributions included: major project implementation & transition, program measurement & analysis, volunteer & paid services management, investment and proposal development, rewards management and on & offline marketing.

The RiverQuest Aquatarium is a 25,000 square foot, interactive, learning and discovery centre located on the shore of the St Lawrence River in the City of Brockville. “Our focus is on building the greatest possible awareness and appreciation for the 1000 Islands Region by inspiring curiosity through experiential learning”, says Rogerson. “The RiverQuest initiative is designed to bring our partner destinations together and present them through intertwined stories, or Quests, that help define our magical region.”
